I'm excited about the Mushroom Festival because it'll be my first chance to actually go as a part of a group and forage. To learn the spots to find mushrooms and find better things that I can work with in my kitchens that lay in their natural form, versus being farmed or grown.

The kind of people who come to a Mushroom festival are the very best of people. They're great. You know, it's not a slice. It's not a normal demographic like old or young, black or white, rich or poor. It crosses all demograpghics and is something that lots of really cool people enjoy. And it's very family friendly, lots of children running around. It's a nice experience.

I attended Mushroom Fest last fall and I really enjoyed it. I didn't know what to expect but what I found was really great. There were scheduled events and stuff going on here and there but, at the same time it was fluid...I met alot of cool people and only planned to stay for a couple of hours. As I was leaving, I was wishing that I had planned to camp out because I hated to leave.
